Community Rowing for Veterans

Community Rowing, Inc. (CRI) is proud to offer one of the most exciting and unique rowing programs in the country dedicated to veterans. All programs at CRI, which span the entire year, are free for military servicemembers and veterans. Servicemembers and veterans are welcome at the Harry Parker Boathouse, where they will find a place to meet new people, be with other vets, regain daily structure, row, and have fun. One veteran describes CRI as a “lifeline” for veterans returning from deployment. When connections with military friends are distanced and connections to old friends just aren’t the same, CRI provides a venue of comfort for establishing new relationships in a safe and welcoming community. With a mission of “Rowing for All,” CRI is committed to provide programs appropriate for all levels of interest, ability, and possibility.
